To know all this a detailed case history is also taken by our SLP

Treatment

Once the assessment is complete, a diagnosis is made and a treatment protocol is created by your SLP. Firstly as with most voice disorders a training in vocal hygiene is given to the person.

Other voice therapy treatments include the following

  • Breathing exercises which improve coordination between abdominal muscles and voice. These exercises will be demonstrated by our SLPs for effective results.
  • Relaxation exercises are also done for clients whose voice is affected due to anxiety and tension. These help in better voice projection.
  • Vocalizing exercises

The treatment is decided based on the diagnosis made by the Speech language pathologist post assessment. Professional voice users enforce these therapeutic techniques to prevent voice disorders.
